Manure Fresh is a collection of short stories, poetry and art pieces collected from the World's Loudest Library (WLL) community. All the stories are set in and around Nairobi. WLL started just over two years ago as way for people who love books and music to get together and celebrate words and ideas. There are two main components: the monthly meetings at a studio on Kijabe Street where a book exchange takes place and the ever-growing roving library. After a successful launch of the first volume titled Going Down Moi Avenue, the second publication is ready to be unveiled. The launch involves DJ sets, literary discussions and a book swap, all graced with projected images of Nairobi and excerpts of the book. Copies of the book will be available.
