The people of Egypt defeated one of the world's most oppressive regimes during the historic January 25 popular revolution that changed the social and political landscape of the region and the world.
Taking his camera back to Cairo to make a visual record of the amazing people's revolution that toppled a 30-year dictatorship, Halifax filmmaker Tarek Abouamin lets the pictures do the talking. Without narration or other contextual distractions, the film reveals the raw courage and determination of a people no longer willing to accept anything less than freedom.
