One year after the independence of South Sudan and the separation of Africa's biggest nation, Josephina, tells the story of a young Southern Sudanese woman living in Khartoum and her experience after the separation of Sudan. Will she be able to complete and receive her law degree from Khartoum's university? What will she do without her life-long friends? It is the story of leaving a home, finding an identity and moving to a new country.
