Artist-painter Lila knows no other trade than painting. She earns her living selling paintings. She lives alone with her 9-year old son Anis, and owns a gallery in the ancient Roman city "Thevest" which door opens into the main entrance of the Mosque. In the neighbourhood, she is the only woman to go out unaccompanied to meet her own needs and draw her inspiration from unusual settings. The only problem is that outdoor is a place for men, and among them traders and fanatics.
