Comedian
Principal country concerned : Column : Theater

A seasoned Entertainer, well known in film, television, radio, theatre and comedy circles, Christopher "Johnny" Daley possesses that magic ingredient of 'funny'. He just has to walk onto a stage to bring the house down.

Christopher, Born in Kingston on April 12, first harnessed his talent at Half Way Tree Primary School where he graduated as the Most Outstanding Male Student. He picked up the first of his Best Actor Awards in the junior category in the highly regarded annual Speech and Drama Competition of the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission. While in High School, Ardenne, Chris continued to participate in the JCDC's Speech and Drama Competitions.  His name became almost synonymous with Gold Medal performances between 1989 and 1992.

Summer 1989 Christopher was awarded a summer scholarship to the Jamaica School of Drama where he took full advantage of the workshops put on by leading lights in Jamaican theatre. It was as a result of his outstanding work in the Junior Theatre, where he won another award as Best Actor, that he was given the opportunity to audition for and perform in the role of Johnny on the TV Comedy series "Lime Tree Lane", broadcast nationally for 8 yrs.

His passion is entertainment and doing it very well. The sky is the limit for Christopher 'Johnny' Daley.
