Donnette Ingrid Zacca MFA  Primier Jamaican fine Art Photographer, Lecturer and Artist.



Zacca was born on May 2nd, 1957.



She attended the Mt. Alvernia High School, The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.



In 1988 Zacca was awarded a USAID scholarship to study Colour and advanced Black and White Photography at the University of Cincinnati  Ohio. In 2001 she attended the Maryland Institute College of Art where she received her Masters of Fine Art degree.



Zacca is the recipient of numerous photographic awards. These include the Jamaica Cultural Development Annual Photography Awards, the National Heritage Thust Photography Competition awards, the National Gallery of Jamaica  purchase award. In 2000 Zacca emerged as an outstanding achiever  winning most awards in the competition.



Her work has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions locally and overseas. Her last solo exhibition at the Mutual Gallery in 2008 featued works entitled 'Issues of Fertility'.



Zacca is the Creative Director and part founder of the JBW Fine Art Photography Club at the Edna Manley College.



She has written articles and published in The Small Axe Magazine,The Best of Sky Writings, Fifty Years Fifty Artist, The Jamaica Observer and others.
